My battery boost is on the left of the steering wheel about knee level on the dash... My downloaded manual says: Battery Boost: The battery boost switch at the cockpit energizes the coil of the isolator relay. This connects the house batteries to the chassis batteries when chassis battery voltage is not sufficient to crank the engine.

2008 Monaco Diplomat stored in my garage, hooked up to 50 amp shore power is this enough to keep the batteries charged. I have a Magnum Energy charger / inverter model #2012 not sure of the settings that need to be inputed in to controller 2x 12 volt chassis and 4x 6 volt house.

Battery Interconnections

Power would go out at the resort, try to start it, get wump, wump wump, and nothing. Sometimes it will start if I use battery boost, sometimes it will start if I start the coach and then use battery boost, but not always. What troubles me is a lot of times when I go to start it (with no shore power), it will kill all power.

There a couple of devices that will allow the chassis battery to be charged when the house battery is being charged. The inside switch by the entry door was okay and worked fine. The Monaco Tech person I had called on the phone said to simply remove the HD Red battery lead from the one side and mount it to the other lug where the second HD Red cable is attached.
